Membership Information
Membership of Bosporos does not cost you anything however all members are encouraged to make regular donations to the OUBC Trust. Our primary goal is to ensure that the members of Bosporos are making a material and recurring difference to the OUBC's finances.
Membership Includes
- Easy booking of Bosporos events, including the Bosporos and Boat Race dinners
- Usage of all Boat Club facilities at Bosporos BC on the Tideway
- Preferential access to launch tickets for Henley and Fixtures where available
- Invitations to trips abroad to represent OUBC: e.g. Croatia, Poland, Zambia, Turkey...
- Regular updates on Bosporos news and up and coming events
Contact information with Old Blues and Isis oarsmen, which members will be able to use to keep in touch or contact OBIs for professional or personal reasons.
A strong and supportive OBI community not only helps the experience and success of the current squad members but will also helps to ensure the future of the boat race and the Oxford tradition.
All Bosporos members make regular donations to the OUBC trust as a show their support. Our intention is that a proportion of the subs are kept back to maintain the Bosporos rowing club and help fund events for OUBC, OBI and Bosporos members in the spirit of supporting an active OBI community which in turn is supportive of the OUBC. Our primary goal is to ensure that the members of Bosporos are making a material and recurring difference to the OUBC's finances. Members of Bosporos are encouraged to give at least £100 a year to the OUBC trust though we encourage members to give more if they can.
